Fedi Geczy commits himself to creating one-on-one, custom designs for his customers and generally limits his work to private residences in Alexandria and Loudoun County, Virginia. Projects outside these areas are considered on a case-by-case basis. Available services include: Bookcases Home Offices Ornamental Woodwork (Walls / Ceilings) Cabinetry / Entertainment Centers Mantels Paneling The first step in acquiring a DesignCraft piece for your home is to contact Fedi to discuss the parameters of your project and determine if an in-home consultation is a suitable next step. The fee for an in-home consultation is $45. If DesignCraft receives the project, this charge will be deducted from the cost. During the in-home consultation, Fedi will take measurements, inform you of design opportunities or obstacles, make design recommendations, consider the perfect scale and proportion of the elements to be incorporated into your home, and advise you when to expect a written proposal. The proposal will include all details of your work--to include dimensions, colors, features, etc. Once a signed contract and a deposit is received, you will be placed on the workshop schedule and advised of the installation date. Installation is fast, orderly, and takes two to three days on the average. All painting and finishing is performed at the workshop, so the interruption to your life is minimal. Fedi can draw his design to scale or use state-of-the-art software to produce images. Furniture pieces include custom storage components, lighting, hidden compartments, swivels and slides...making a DesignCraft piece functional as well as beautiful.
